Central Texas Motorsports Expo in Killeen
A few weeks ago TIMM
was in Killeen at the request of a good ole friend, Mr. Red Roberts for a good
ole fashion motorcycle swap meet at the Central Texas Motorsports Expo. Of
course, there is always lots of hot bikes, some show and race cars, some
antique-custom and touring bikes - and not too mention some good looking gals.
Saturday night, music was provided by Gravelwhip, a rock and Blues band. There
were bargains to be had and lots to see. The show was put together to help pay
for improvements to the Little River Dragway. So take a look at these fine
machines.
No, this fine lady was not there - but there were a few other fine ladys just as well.

These are some good looking bikes:

How about an Indian:

Anybody want to buy a bike, I mean a scoot?

Of course Red's favorite bike is . . .

And how about a few good looking cars:

Even Hersey had a car in the show:

And you can't go wrong look at the back end of a drag car:

By Sunday the crowd had gone to do other things, but it was still a nice swap meet and bike show. Stay tuned for more of Red's events either on our website or on Red's at www.texasscooter.com
At the show was a tribute bike to a fallen soldier by the name of Cody Carver. This bike is a must to see and will be showcased separately along with its story. So stay tuned and thank you Red for the invite. TIMM
Note: While TIMM has limited staff right now, pretty soon we will have a legion of volunteers to help take pictures, write stories, cover events, and just be good ole Texans. So if you want us to cover an event - drop us a line at submissions@texasironmagazine.com and we'll get back to you. Please give us plenty of time to plan ahead. Thanks. TIMM
