Austin Car and Bike Show
This past January, Gerald Bartlett (pictured below left) from Sundown Promotions held another Car and Bike show here in Austin, Texas. And while the venue was a tad smaller than the good ole days, it was still a good time to see old friends, some good looking bikes, and definitely some great looking cars and trucks. If you work on bikes, chances are you also work on cars and trucks, especially now-a-days. Another good ole friend (pictured below to the right) is Earl from Anetelope Creek Leather (www.antelopecreekleather.com). It was to good to see Gerald, Earl, and a few others but it is always good to see nice bikes, cars, and trucks.

Of course, when you have great looking bikes, cars, and trucks. you'll have some great looking gals like Amanda Garcia (r) and Tara Saad (pictured below left) who were helping Richard of Napalm Motorsports with their display. Richard, one of the mechanics at Napalm Motor Sports (www.napalmmortorsports.com) sure didn't mind posing with the great looking gals. On most Saturdays (weather permitting) you'll find Ty (the owner) cooking some hamburgers and hotdogs for anyone who happens to come by the shop, take a look at some great looking bikes, or who might be hungry. Check them out if you are ever around the 12000 block of N. 620.

This guy is a friend of Ricky Hayes and we'll, you can tell from the smile on his face.

Now how about some great looking bikes like this one owned by Zack Lewis of Schertz, Texas.

Or how about these great looking bikes with this owned by Deen Edwards:

Or this First Place bike owned by Actor and friend Ricky Hayes.

This is one nice looking and running 2007 Mean Streak.
How about some Texas Pride with this UT themed bicycle. The "spinners" alone cost $600 each. OUCH!

A few good looking cars:

And speaking of good ole friends. The picture to the top right has a gear shift that had to have a picture of its own.

Yes, good ole "Rat Fink" himself. This is for you Big Daddy Ed Roth - RIP.
How about a drag bike and check out good ole "Red Roberts" who
is still racing, still promoting racing, and still promoting his swap
meets.
This last car belongs to an ole friend and highly respected car builder, "Brown Castro". Again, it was good to see ole friends like Red, Gerald, Earl, and Brown. Check out Brown's car.

There you have it folks. This year's Austin's Car and Bike show and next year, TIMM hopes to take a more active role in the bike show. Let's work on it. TIMM
